Shorts
I directed Mynoot Loss the summer after I graduated high school. My friend and collaborator Tony Bonacci recieved an email from Leo Fitzpatrick (Who stars in one of my favorite films “Kids” and also has a part in Lovely, Still). In that email Leo gave Tony permision to turn a play he had written (Originally entitled “Honor thy Mother and Father”) into a short. It was at this point that I began begging Tony to let me direct it, not him. It was to be my first major short film! I loved the content! I had to do it!
After much time and fighting Tony gave in. I shot for a week straight on a budget of two grand (Saved up from waiting tables at my parent’s diner). Orenda Fink allowed me to use some of her band Azure Ray’s music for free and after she saw the finished film she asked me to direct my first music video.
I wrote and directed many more shorts (6 to be exact) and they will all show up here eventually. But for now the site must continue to grow slowly like mold.
